认识核心能力---- 什么是企业核心能力呢?
根据麦肯锡咨询公司的观点，所谓核心能力是指某一组织内部一系列互补的技能和知识的结合，它具有使一项或多项业务达到竞争领域一流水平的能力。核心能力由洞察预见能力和前线执行能力构成。洞察预见能力主要来源于科学技术知识、独有的数据、产品的创造性、卓越的分析和推理能力等；前线执行能力产生于这样一种情形，即最终产品或服务的质量会因前线工作人员的工作质量而发生改变。

核心能力是企业的特殊能力，具有如下一些特征：
---- 价值优越性 核心能力是企业独特的竞争能力，应当有利于企业效率的提高，能够使企业在创造价值和降低成本方面比竞争对手更优秀。同时，它也给消费者带来独特的价值和利益。

---- 不可交易性 核心能力与特定的企业相伴生，虽然可以为人们感受到，但无法像其它生产要素一样通过市场交易进行买卖。
---- 难替代性 由于核心能力具有难以模仿的特点，因而依靠这种能力生产出来的产品（包括服务）在市场上也不会轻易被其它产品所替代。

---- 为了评价并培育企业核心能力，主要应该把握4个方面：确定企业到底具有何种真正出众的独特技能；确定企业产品优势的核心能力能维持多久；正确估计企业核心能力可能创造出的实际价值；实现核心能力的整合。企业核心能力必须浓缩，集中到最关键的核心。
---- 核心能力既能反映企业的综合竞争优势，又能适应市场的竞争需要。企业培育核心能力的途径主要有二：传统途径和现代途径。传统途径就是产品经营，指企业为了实现内部资源的最优配置而采取的一系列管理行为，包括技术创新、供应管理、生产作业管理、市场营销管理、财务管理等，在战略上体现为内部型战略、实业扩张战略、产品扩张战略。现代途径是企业重组(其核心是资本运营)，指企业为了有效整合外部资源而采取的更为复杂的管理行为，包括兼并、收购、分拆、上市、联营、破产等，在战略上体现为外部交易型战略、金融拉张战略、资本扩张战略。
